After the first cut-off released by Delhi University which peaked 100%, DU 2nd cut off 2014 is out today, for admission to various undergraduate courses for the academic year 2014-15. Students who are eligible and meet the admission requirement according to this Second cut-off list can now complete their admission formalities from 04 to 07 July 2014. The university has rolled back its four year undergraduate programme into 3-year structure as per the directions provided by University Grants Commissions.

Even though, seats of many popular courses in various colleges of DU have been filled to a great extent, there is still a possibility of admission for the students who did not make it in the first cut-off list released on July 1, but qualifies for the second cut-off.

For instance, in IP College for Women, almost half of the seats have been filled in the first two days of admission. At Miranda House, out of 1,000 available seats, 430 have been filled. In Science stream, Zoology (Honors) and Botany (Honors) have witnessed a good response.

However, under the three-year format, the B.Tech and Bachelor Management Studies (BMS) courses have been discontinued. The admission to BBS and BA Hons (Business Economics) would be held on the basis of the criteria already announced for BMS admission 2014-15.
